Welcome to the
Naioniverse
Centuries after the Fold, civilization is fragile and chaotic. The population is concentrated in megacities; the largest of them is Naion, a city of towering arcologies and deep secrets, where most people live inside because the air is another enemy. Along its narrow snakeways, bodytech gurus upgrade the flawed human chassis, while brainware whispers information directly into people's minds. In a world where life is cheap and air is expensive, corporations and governments vie for supremacy with the help of augmented spies and immersion hackers...
Currently, the Naioniverse encompasses only one book: Centricity, from the Centricity Cycle. I have 5 books planned for the series, but I also have spin-off ideas. For this reason, the Naioniverse will be expanding for many years to come.
Here you will find Naioniverse material including art, maps, and an encyclopedia. I'll be updating it as new things are added. Thanks for plugging in!

Map of Naion
Naion is a living, breathing city, and so will be updated as the series expands.
The arcologies (massive buildings that are like self-contained cities) indicated by the orange circles are not the only structures here. Many smaller buildings and floating settlements house the population, including converted cargo ships and floating waterline communities.
Due to file size limits, location and arcology numbers may be hard to see here. I'm working on a way to safely share a larger image.

Naioniverse Art
Painted in 239 Post-Foundation by Gustav Thu-Ang for a competition entitled "Thirty Years Forward," in which artists were asked to envision what Naion would look like in 30 years. His attempt was valiant, but misses the mark in a couple areas, the biggest one being that Canopy coverage turned out to be far greater and more porous than depicted. As described in Centricity, it looks more like a "dirty intake filter" or a thick, randomly woven net.
Art from Pinterest
I have gathered a collection of art on Pinterest called the "Essence of Naion." None of the images there were created in connection to the Centricity Cycle or Naion, but they give a sense of the mood, atmosphere, people, and architecture I have in mind.
Naioniverse Encyclopedia
Here you will find an ever-evolving list of the terminology used in the Naioniverse.
